Who
Are We?
Glyn was raised near Utopia in the Texas hill country. His
family raised sheep, cattle and angora goats. The Hutto
family enjoyed showing angora goats and was very successful
with both commercial and registered angoras. After
graduation from Sul Ross State University in 1987, Glyn
worked for the Texas Farm Bureau as a field representative
in western Texas. Glyn and Robbin married in 1991 and later
purchased a small stock farm near Eldorado, Texas, where
Glyn began buying and selling sheep and goats part time.
Glyn and Robbin's most exciting and fastest growing
enterprise began in 2001 when they decided to raise and sell
show wethers. Wethers from Hutto Livestock have been very
successful in the show ring with 2005-2006 proving to be
their best year so far. Wins at Houston, Ft. Worth, Austin,
and the Lone Star Elite Jackpot prove that Hutto Livestock
is on the right track with their show wether project.
Ross Stultz has been a big part of the success of this
project. Glyn and Ross select bucks together and Ross has
done a great job of getting wethers to good feeders around
the state. In 2004, the Huttos purchased half interest in
Justin Jonas club lamb ewe herd. Justin and Glyn enjoy
raising and selling fine wool cross lambs and are excited
about the future of this venture.
Glyn and Robbin have two sons, Davis and Mason. The whole
family enjoys the livestock business and the show wether
project in particular. The Huttos are excited about the
